What is known about Herzen

In brief, practically nothing. The company was founded last year. It is not known in which city it is located. There is no credible information for more than half a year of the firm's existence. There is only negative information about the company, but first things first. We tried to find information on the Internet about the location of the company's legal address, but were unable to find anything. In contrast, any company that respects traders tries to be as open and transparent as possible, to inform its customers, so they know whom they are going to give their money to, but it seems that those who own Herzen do not think that way.

Additionally, a very important feature of a good trading platform is reliable security features. Ensuring the safety of individual information and traders' funds is of utmost importance. A good trading platform must have good security practices, such as two-step verification, encryption, and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). All these and other things are designed to firmly protect customers from scams, account theft or hacking into the platform with massive data leakage. None of this is even close to happening on Herzen's platform.

It's also bad enough that it had a tangible impact on me on an emotional level. Not only did I lose a significant amount of money due to Herzen's incompetence, but the whole incident planted in me a sense of betrayal and a strong distrust of the trading industry. I can't get rid of the painful thoughts of the dozens of hours used to solve technical problems and recover financial losses triggered by the fraudulent nature of this office.

What other signs and evidence is there that Herzen is fraudulent?

As it was written before, Herzen and its representatives are not exempt from aggressive selling and insults, they show enviable lack of competence and marketing tricks like promises of gigantic earnings and inflated reviews. They do not have any documents on Herzen's website, not even an agreement of public offer, and they are required to present scans of documents confirming the company's regulation, registration papers and, optionally, some kind of awards. In search the situation is similar, as with reviews, they are all boilerplate. The fact that Herzen does not return investments is a common feature of scams. Representatives of Herzen also like to give false signals, which are not only unrealistic to earn on, but on the contrary, all the money is lost. Scammers often give these signals to make a profit and more commissions and fees, although it concerns more white brokerage firms that scam in this way. But very frequent slippages and glitches of Herzen are also a typical indicator of fraud.

Personal experience of interaction with the firm

The facts that have been mentioned before are already enough to make a correct conclusion about Herzen's essence. We made the decision to see everything in person to be 100% sure.
We went through the registration, an employee of Herzen called us back and instantly began to induce us to make a top-up of a large amount. During the conversation the Herzen employee used assertive selling strategy, some silly flattery, we funded our account for a minimum amount of $25 and tried to try the tips given by this broker. What happened next? We lost almost the whole amount in a few transactions and tried to withdraw the money, but they did not give us the money back. Once again Herzen representative called and tried to dissuade me from withdrawing the money and even transferred the money to the account once again and made the transactions and according to him if I had done that I would have been compensated. However, it is unclear for what reason the managers could not just compensate me without me sending the manager personal money once again. It's not hard to understand that if I had done so, the managers still wouldn't have given me the money, not a cent.

Let's now move on to a comparison of what Herzen offers and an adequate average company. How does a not bad brokerage platform have to function? A not bad investor platform is an important tool for traders to gain access to global markets and make smart investment decisions. A good platform must have both a cent and a demo account in addition to a regular one.
A proper brokerage platform is a must for both mobile and desktop versions. In today's fast-paced world, investors should be able to access their brokerage platform on the go. This enables them, for example, to follow a lightning-quickly changing environment and promptly sell or buy an asset if a compelling case arises. A good website should have an adaptive mobile application as well as a fully fledged desktop version, in order to meet the needs and requirements of their clients.

Consequences of working with Herzen

What would be the situation, when you or someone else would give up all the information given here and try to collaborate with Herzen? Let's imagine it. Let's take a review of Herzen from a Reddit forum:
"I am writing this review to share my painful experience with Herzen and to warn future clients before they even consider giving their hard-earned cash to this office. In my years of trading experience I have never come across a more negative brokerage firm, and it gave me a bitter taste in my mouth and a significant decrease in my confidence in trading in general.

When the situation came down to the basic aspect of customer support, I got really pissed off. Their representatives were either unresponsive or unable to address my concerns with any semblance of professionalism. I realised that I was talking to a chatbot and my requests for help were ignored. In that situation I urgently needed help during a sharp market movement, I was in a tight spot, which eventually resulted in me losing a huge amount of money.

What else does a decent broker's platform have to have? Research tools! A trading platform should give clients access to research tools and resources. These can be financial news, analyst articles, corporate financials, technical analysis tools and more. These resources enable traders to make informed investment decisions and not just do whatever they want. And how can you make normal investment decisions when all Herzen's platform has is a calendar? Real brokers make sure that their investors have everything they need to make good decisions, because it directly affects the overall perspective of the partnership between them.

Comparing Herzen with a decent company

This part of the article contains the following information:
  • What a normal brokerage organisation's site should look like;
  • What a Herzen site should look like;
  • Comparison of a good trading floor with what Herzen has.

Entrusting your own investments to Herzen is a decision you are likely to worry about, as I did after all this. I have faced the bitter reality that this is the worst thing that could have happened to me as a human being, and I am sure that personal experience knows a stopper for traders who, are considering giving their funds to this disgusting investment firm."

Reviews on Herzen

What are the reviews on Herzen talking about? Mostly about the fraud and total unqualification of Herzen employees. The ratio of positive to critical opinions is definitely in favour of the critical ones. The positive reviews on Herzen are similarly not so straightforward. The catch is that all the reviews are a bit too artificial and were posted not so long ago and essentially at the same time. All this indicates that these good reviews are fake. Below is one of these reviews:
"Herzen is a great organisation! The firm has a brokerage permit. I get 150-200% of my total capital per month and I spend ten minutes a day trading. I recommend Herzen to everyone!"
A really great organisation! One that can make an ordinary person a billionaire in a couple of years, because a trader will get 150-200% every four weeks. We think it's already obvious in this situation that this is a fake review.
We will cite another review on Herzen written on Reddit:
"This is the best broker on the market. I cannot understand why Herzen is not number one in Europe and America yet! The service is top notch and the managers at Herzen are the smartest. I've been working with them for almost two and a half years and I'm doing well."
And we too are at a loss as to why this broker is not yet number one... among the scammers.
Note that those people who engaged in scamming reviews don't even realise themselves Herzen has been "providing services" for only six months, but certainly not the several years this character has allegedly been doing business with Herzen. No evidence has been presented to prove that Herzen's managers are "very competent".

It was obvious from the start that the degree of professionalism and competence at Herzen was clearly close to zero. Their platform was invariably problematic, with constant technical problems and a user interface that could only be described as ludicrous and incomprehensible. This alone made the execution of operations unnerving, but the difficulties did not end there.

The most important fact that confirms that Herzen is a scam

No doubt we are referring to the lack of regulation. The regulator has a number of functions, including checking broker's offices, inspecting firm's representatives, examining financials, investors and monitoring company's liquidity. But the regulator's most important task is to prevent financial manipulation. Money manipulation can be different, for example writing off a trader's money without his permission, or misusing a client's money in transactions for which he did not give permission. In the months before the 2008-2009 crisis, the largest banking structures in the US were doing this on a massive scale. You can, for example, get your money back through the regulators. The regulators have their own principles by which they test the competence of the staff of financial institutions, including traders. In turn, this ensures that real professionals deal with their clients. Herzen does not have any authorization for trading, not even a license from some fictitious government agency.

As we can see, the trader has not only lost money and mental health, but also did not get any good investment experience, only disappointment in Forex. If you look at other reviews they have basically the same content. The most common thing they write about is that Herzen does not pay out money. Traders in addition say that Herzen's representatives are extremely unqualified. Looking at the reviews on Herzen, we have repeatedly encountered the information that the company's employees in communication with clients allow themselves obvious manipulation and allow themselves to be insulted. Opinions on a normal investment company should suggest otherwise, or at least things cannot be that terrible. Basically, the reviews on Herzen also clearly show that Herzen is an obvious scam.

A good trading platform should have a comfortable interface. A well-designed, intuitive user interface is essential for a brokerage platform. This makes it possible for clients to navigate through the platform, manage their accounts and conduct transactions without difficulty. There is nothing like that on Herzen's platform. By the way, we have seen many different platforms and it is a familiar thing to us, but on this platform it is difficult to navigate despite our considerable experience.
A good brokerage platform should offer a wide range of investment options. A good brokerage platform must offer a wide range of trading solutions, including stocks, bonds, ETFs, mutual funds, options, futures and other securities. This allows investors to diversify their accounts and gain access to many classes of instruments. The Herzen platform has quite a huge number of assets, but the problem is that the Herzen scam and transactions in these instruments are not real, it's not all happening in reality, like in the game. By buying gold through Herzen you are not really buying anything because Herzen has no license and therefore is not allowed to work with the world markets and thus you are not essentially buying anything through a brokerage company on the exchange. In general, the Herzen platform not only has a useless usability, but the platform is also quite unpleasant from an aesthetic point of view.

Total

You have seen everything with your own eyes. Herzen is different even amongst the scams. The company is toxic to the point that there is nowhere to put a stigma on it. The reviews on Herzen, which don't seem artificial, are overflowing with negativity. Users write time and again that investments are not compensated, representatives do not observe the norms of decorum, the platform is uncomfortable, constantly glitches, from the interaction with the office are only bad memories. If you do not want you to suffer the same fate as the other traders, under no circumstances leave even your contact details on the Herzen website, or if you have already left them, just block the investor numbers and ignore them. If you do talk to the managers, there is a risk that the scammers, with their talents and experience of scamming, will be able to wrap you around their finger, and steal your hard-earned money. They don't just offer any investment, they try to gain the trust of their victims by befriending them, enticing them with the promise of the highest profits.
